Microwave Ovens

Microwaves are a useful kitchen extra. They are great when re-heating yesterday's dinner, steaming veg, or defrosting some meat for your next meal. The microwave oven is an electric oven that heats and cooks food by physically exposing it to electromagnetic radiation in the microwave frequency range. This method of cooking is called dielectric heating and totally safe if using the oven in the correct manner.
